Maggie Parker PT, DPT, Dry Needling Certified

I am an Asheville native and am happy to be home to the mountains. I am a 2010 graduate of A. C. Reynolds, a 2014 graduate of UNC- Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a concentration in Sports Medicine. I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018 from Elon University. I have been a physical therapist for 3 years and have worked in different outpatient orthopedic clinics seeing all sorts of diagnoses from post surgical, to chronic conditions, balance, geriatrics, and orthopedic pain.

A few of the values that I live by are kindness, empathy, and building up others.

I want to help patients with their knee pain! I injured my knee playing ultimate frisbee and tore my ACL. PT was difficult but got me back to doing all the things I love.

I am a physical therapist and specialize in exceptional orthopedic care. I focus on reducing your injury or issue in order to get you back to doing what you love to do.

One of the reasons I enjoy working at Physio is having the ability to work as part of a team to provide exceptional care to community members of WNC.

What’s Maggie Reading, Listening To, or Watching?

  • A Wrinkle In Time (TV Show)

In my free time, I enjoy playing ultimate frisbee, hiking, spending time with my partner and dogs, and exploring the local restaurant scene.
