After a decade as a physical therapist, Chris was injured during a workout and ruptured his Achilles. Experiencing physical therapy as a client made him to reflect on his career and his profession leading him to found Physio Physical Therapy and Wellness in 2012. Now, he is behind the scenes, focusing on helping more of the community to have access to great physical therapy.
In his free time, Chris loves to travel, enjoys running, hiking, biking and other outdoor activities as well as trying new foods with his wife, Lara, and their two sons Isaac and Eli.



Amanda Roach
MPT, OCS, MTC, ATC
Asheville native Amanda helps her clients live their best life, by not only getting them back to 100% but also giving them the tools to maintain that healthy lifestyle. She believes that a smile and physical activity can turn even the worst day into the best!
Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, and friends, going to church, working out, and being a tourist in her hometown.



Maria Moore

After 8 years of practice, I got my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston. As both a civilian and military physical therapist, I have had the opportunity to practice in many locations both in the U.S. and overseas.

Tyler Matherne

Tyler uses his skills as a DPT and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist to assess his clients movement patterns, identify the biochemical reasons for their pain, help them address those deficits and give them the tools to be independent.
In his spare time, he enjoys all of the wonderful hiking and camping that the Asheville area has to offer. You might also find him cycling on the parkway, running around town, or knee-deep in a river trying to get some trout.



Rachel Suggs
PTA, Astym Certified
Rachel loves being able to join in on her client's journey to become more independent and pain free.
Away from Physio, she enjoys good music, travel, hiking with her two dogs Ranger and Fynn, and spending time with her partner, Logan, and her family.



Jared Dapkevich
PT, DPT, Dry Needling Cert.
Jared's first goal for his patients is to achieve maximum function. He likes to incorporate Instrument Assisted techniques, hands-on Manual Therapy and Trigger Point Dry Needling in his practice. He most enjoys working with orthopedic conditions, but also revels in the opportunity to help patients with dizziness due to vestibular disorders.
When he’s not in the clinic, you can catch him running, spending time with friends and family, riding his motorcycle or hiking and camping in the surrounding forests.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, yoga, hiking, reading, painting, being in nature, and music. She strives to exemplify a life full of compassion and servitude to others. Her mantra is to be a beacon of light for all those who cross her path.

She recently moved to Asheville from Greenville, NC with her cat Gia. She graduated from East Carolina and loves to study German. She really enjoys hiking in the Blue Ridge and exploring new places throughout the Asheville area.

Ariana is a multi-tasker extraordinaire, and her goal is always to bring smiles to people on their journey of healing. She loves helping people feel comfortable and making sure they feel heard and truly cared for as they mend their bodies.
As a North Carolina native, Ariana made her way from central NC to WNC in 2015. She is currently studying to pursue a career as an entomologist, with a focus on stream ecology. Over her time here in Asheville, she has developed a large list of dog-sitting clients and she hosts local drag shows around town.
