Gracie Garrett PT, DPT

I grew up in Florence, Alabama. A small town with a bit of charm and a whole lot of hidden talent. I graduated from Mars Hill Bible School where playing soccer was my life’s priority. I then attended The University of Alabama where I graduated with a degree in Human Performance and Exercise Science. I received my DPT at The University of Alabama at Birmingham and then spent my first 2.5 years of my career working in Murfreesboro, TN - an accidental long-term stay. While working in Tennessee for a company focused on manual therapy, I worked my way up to clinic director before being called to the mountains and starting with Physio!

Honesty, Trust, Loyalty, and a desire to help people in need.

“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.”
-Henry David Thoreau

I want to help the patients who are missing out on the fullness of life - whether that’s missing hiking, dancing, playing guitar, or playing with their kids.

I’m a physical therapist-a movement specialist. I don’t specialize in anything particular but have some extra training in pelvic floor therapy.

I enjoy working at Physio because of the focus on patients. We get to be 1-on-1 and really get to know our patients well here.
