It matters WHO you get your care from. It can make all the difference in the world.
We believe nothing is impossible!

Chris Taylor / MPT, CSCS, MFMS, Astym Cert.; Founder
- Chris became a physical therapist because he loves to work with and help people. It really makes him feel good when he can make a difference by helping others decrease their pain and increase their function. He ruptured his Achilles a few years ago and became a patient himself, which he feels gave him a unique perspective so that he can make other’s experiences with physical therapy that much better.Chris loves helping the community and friends become the best they can be. In his free time, Chris loves to travel, enjoys running, hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities. “I also enjoy golf, tennis, getting together with friends and trying new foods. Lately, I’ve been spending time with my family.” Chris lives in Asheville with his wife, Lara, their two sons Isaac and Eli, dog Bueller, and cat Blitzen.

Tyler Matherne / PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, Physical Therapist
Tyler is a Louisiana born transplant to the Asheville area. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Western Carolina University and completed a year long orthopedic residency program at UNC. He is also a Certified Strength and Condition Specialist. Tyler likes to use all the skills he has learned from these experiences to assess his patients movement patterns, identify the biochemical reasons for their pain, help them work towards addressing those deficits and give them the tools to help themselves.
In his spare time he enjoys all of the wonderful hiking and camping that the Asheville area has to offer. You might also find him cycling on the park way, running around town, or knee deep in a river trying to get some trout. His favorite quote is “A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.” - John A. Shedd
